The People Behind Ivy
Elissa L, MBA
Founder and Managing Director
Elissa is a Los Angeles native who graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with minors in Educational Studies and Applied Psychology at the age of 20. She went on to earn her MBA from USC's Marshall School of Business, graduating with distinction as the youngest MBA in her class. Her background in psychology and business created the foundation for everything Ivy Education stands for: a results-driven environment that never loses sight of the student behind the grades. Elissa has spent over 33 years building a center where academic achievement and personal growth happen together.
TT, MEd
Co-Founder and Academic Director
TT, nicknamed "Teacher Teacher" by her own students, holds a Master's degree in English Instruction from Columbia University. Before joining Ivy Education, she taught at Stuyvesant High School in New York City, one of the most competitive public schools in the country. With over a decade of classroom experience, TT brings a teaching style that balances rigor with genuine warmth. She believes the best learning happens when students feel safe enough to take risks and our classrooms are proof of it.

Allan Han received his masters degree in English instruction at NYU. He is a writer and educator with over six years of teaching experience in K-12 students fundamental English, fundamental math, SAT writing, and high school literature.

Derek graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in bioengineering and matriculated at USC Keck for his medical doctor degree. Now a surgeon at UCI, he helps students achieve their STEM career dreams through college planning and advising.
