A Legal Disclaimer

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before enrolling in any program offered by Ivy Education (also referred to as "Ivy League School" and "长春藤学院"). By enrolling your child or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Terms & Conditions

1. About Ivy Education
Ivy Education is an educational enrichment center located at 19267 Colima Rd., Suites A–C, Rowland Heights, CA 91748. We offer after-school tutoring, summer enrichment programs, ELD instruction, advanced electives, and college consulting services for K–12 students.
2. Enrollment & Registration
Enrollment in any Ivy Education program is confirmed upon receipt of payment. All students are subject to a placement assessment on the first day of class to ensure they are placed in the appropriate level. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Spots are not guaranteed until payment is received.Ivy Education reserves the right to decline enrollment or remove a student from a program if their needs cannot be adequately met by our services. Parents and guardians are responsible for providing accurate information about their child's academic level and any relevant learning needs at the time of enrollment.
3. Tuition & Fees
Tuition is charged weekly for summer programs and weekly or by semester for after-school programs. All fees are due as outlined at the time of enrollment. A one-time materials fee applies per semester or program session as applicable. Add-on services (advanced electives, Chinese language, Fun Club, lunch, transportation) are billed separately and are optional. Ivy Education reserves the right to adjust tuition rates. Notice will be provided in advance of any changes. Returned checks or failed payments may incur an additional processing fee.
4. Refund & Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans change. Our refund and cancellation policy is as follows: Withdrawals made before the program start date are eligible for a full refund minus any non-refundable deposits. Withdrawals made after the program has begun are prorated based on the number of weeks remaining, minus a processing fee. No refunds will be issued for absences, missed classes, or student-initiated dismissals mid-session. Ivy Education reserves the right to issue refunds and discontinue services at its discretion if a student's continued enrollment is not in the best interest of the student, staff, or other students.
5. Attendance & Punctuality
Regular attendance is strongly encouraged. Students who miss multiple sessions may fall behind and Ivy Education is not responsible for gaps in learning due to absences. Parents are responsible for notifying Ivy Education in advance of any planned absences. Students must be picked up by the designated dismissal time. Late pickups may result in additional childcare fees.
6. Student Conduct
Ivy Education maintains a respectful, focused, and inclusive learning environment. All students are expected to: Treat instructors, staff, and fellow students with respect at all times. Follow classroom rules and instructor directions. Refrain from the use of personal devices (phones, tablets, laptops) for non-academic purposes during class time unless specifically permitted by an instructor. Ivy Education reserves the right to dismiss a student from the program without refund in cases of repeated misconduct, disrespect toward staff, or behavior that disrupts the learning environment.
7. Use of Technology
Students may not use translation tools, AI-assisted writing software, or similar technology to complete assignments without explicit instructor permission. Academic integrity is a core value at Ivy Education, and all work submitted should represent the student's own effort.
8. Communication & Contact Hours
Ivy Education communicates primarily via WeChat and email during business hours. We are not obligated to respond to messages received outside of business hours, including evenings and weekends. For urgent matters, please contact us by phone at (626) 912-7366 during business hours.
9. Photography & Media
By enrolling in our programs, you grant Ivy Education permission to photograph or record students during class activities for use in our promotional materials, website, and social media, unless you notify us in writing that you do not consent to this.
10. Limitation of Liability
Ivy Education is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings brought onto the premises. While we take every precaution to ensure student safety, Ivy Education is not liable for any injury or accident that occurs on the premises beyond what is covered by our applicable insurance.
Ivy Education does not guarantee specific academic outcomes, grade improvements, or test score results. Our programs are designed to support student growth, but individual results may vary based on the student's effort, attendance, and engagement.
11. Health & Safety

Students who are ill should not attend in-person classes. Parents are asked to keep sick children at home to protect the health of other students and staff. Ivy Education reserves the right to send a student home if they appear unwell during the school day. Parents must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs that may affect their child's safety or participation in our programs.
12. College Consulting Services
College consulting services are subject to a separate agreement and fee structure. The $150 consultation fee for initial counselor meetings is refundable only if the assigned counselor determines the match is not suitable. Once ongoing services commence, fees are non-refundable except as outlined in the individual service agreement. Ivy Education does not guarantee college admission outcomes. Our counselors provide guidance, strategic support, and essay development assistance, but final admissions decisions rest solely with the respective institutions.
13. Modifications to Terms
Ivy Education reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website at www.ivyeducation.info. Continued enrollment after any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from enrollment or use of our services will be handled in accordance with California law.

What to Include in the T&C Document

Generally speaking, T&C often address these types of issues: Who is allowed to use the website; the possible payment methods; a declaration that the website owner may change his or her offering in the future; the types of warranties the website owner gives his or her customers; a reference to issues of intellectual property or copyrights, where relevant; the website owner’s right to suspend or cancel a member’s account; and much, much more.
